 The Living Room

Our lobby is the first space children and families will encounter when they arrive. It is designed to feel bright, welcoming, and safe. The area includes a variety of toys and activities to help children feel at ease from the moment they walk in. Comfortable seating is available for caregivers, creating a space that supports families as a whole.

We have also prioritized accessibility to ensure every family can comfortably use the space. The lobby features accessible entrances, wide pathways for mobility devices, and seating options that accommodate a range of needs. Our goal is to create an inclusive, family-focused environment where every child and caregiver feels supported, respected, and at ease from the very beginning.

 Multi-Disciplinary Team   Meeting Room

Our MDT viewing room is a private and secure space created for live observation of forensic interviews. This allows multidisciplinary team members to view interviews in real time while maintaining a calm and nonintrusive experience for the child. The room is equipped with iRecord technology to support clear, reliable viewing and documentation throughout the interview process. Seating is flexible, with additional chairs available as needed to comfortably accommodate all MDT members during observations.

We also recognize the emotional nature of this work and have taken steps to support the wellbeing of our team. The room includes small comfort items such as stress balls, candy, and essential oil lotions to help reduce stress and promote focus. Every detail of the viewing room is designed to support collaboration, professionalism, and the overall wellness of those who serve children and families.

Forensic Interview Room

Our forensic interview room is intentionally designed to create a safe, calming, and child centered environment. The space is equipped with iRecord technology to ensure high quality, reliable recording while remaining as unobtrusive as possible so the child can stay focused and comfortable.

Every detail in the room is chosen with the child’s comfort in mind. Soft lighting from a large salt rock lamp helps create a warm and soothing atmosphere. Children are given choices in how and where they sit, including a couch or our large, human sized dog bed. Many children naturally gravitate toward the dog bed, especially when they are able to sit or lie alongside our therapy dog for added comfort and support.

The room also includes fidget toys, a small table with drawing materials, and a variety of cozy items such as blankets, pillows, and a fan to help regulate temperature. These options allow children to engage in ways that feel natural to them and help reduce stress during the interview process. Our goal is to provide a space where children feel as comfortable, supported, and at ease as possible, allowing them to share their experiences in a way that feels safe and manageable.
