 Child Protective Services (CPS)

Specialists who assess child safety, coordinate protective actions, and support families throughout the process.

Legal partners who guide cases through the justice system and ensure victims’ rights and needs remain at the forefront.

 Medical Providers and SANE Nurses 

Specially trained clinicians who provide medical evaluations and trauma-informed care at no cost to families.

A trusted community partner providing crisis intervention, advocacy, and support services for survivors and families. Their collaboration strengthens our ability to meet families’ immediate needs with compassion, dignity, and continuity of care.

 Guernsey CAC Staff  

Forensic interviewers,  and program staff who guide families, facilitate communication, and keep the MDT connected and informed.

 How the MDT Works 
Our MDT model ensures that children tell their story once in a safe and supportive environment while the professionals responsible for their care work together behind the scenes. This coordinated approach reduces trauma and duplication, improves communication across agencies, strengthens investigative and legal outcomes, ensures families receive clear guidance and consistent support, and creates a unified pathway from disclosure to  and ensure families get the support they need. Every case is reviewed collaboratively, allowing the team to share information as needed, identify needs, and make decisions that prioritize the child’s well being.
